Our Tent Review

What Campers Loved

Campers who own this tent enjoy the following features:

  • Great ventilation (more than half the reviews mentioned that this Marmot tent had great ventilation the best they had ever seen in a tent in some cases.)
  • Outstanding headroom ( Being able to actually walk around standing up in this tent made for a lot of happy campers.)
  • Easy set up
  • Light weight
  • Great in all kinds of weather
  • One reviewer even stated that this tent was so well made that they felt this would be the last tent she and her husband would ever have to buy.

Unbelievable as it may sound there were hardly any negative reviews to be found. One person did rate this the 6 man Marmot Tent, stating that the tent leaked all over. However, considering the number of users who used this tent in downpours and remained completely dry it is suspected that this reviewer may have gotten a poor individual tent and that the leakage problem is not a problem with the overall design or most of the 6 person tents.

Handy Features

  • DAC poles with press inserts for increased durability
  • zip open and close canopy panels
  • 2 door
  • 2 Vestibules

  • fly vent for better ventilation
  • Ground level side vents
  • Inside storage pockets
  • 75 inch center tent height

Overall

Priced at around 500 dollars, this tent is on the pricey side. Some reviewers feel that the price is a little too steep for the tent.

The spaciousness of this model is a huge bonus. Though sold as a dome tent many reviewers state that the extra head room makes this tent feel like a cabin tent.

All things considered, the Marmot Halo 6 is a good tent for group camping.
